MS. CATHERINE BLANKSBY, BUSINESS MANAGER

Catherine Blanksby has over fifteen years of business development, project management, systems integration and software sales experience with technology companies of various sizes. Most recently, Catherine served as business development manager for a global systems integration company Headstrong, located in New York City.

For the better part of a decade, Catherine was a freelance project manager for numerous clients such as The New York City Marathon, MTV Networks, General Electric, and has helped produce several Olympics.

Catherine received her BA from the American University in Paris where she earned an International Business Administration degree.

DR. ANDREW BLANKSBY, TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Andrew Blanksby, Gnome Technologies' founder, holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with The University of Adelaide.

He was born and raised in South Australia and has spent most of his career working at the prestigious Bell Laboratories, the research arm of Lucent Technologies in Holmdel, New Jersey, USA.

Through his seven years at Bell Labs, Dr. Blanksby conducted research and developed products in the areas of integrated circuit design, wireless systems design, and digital signal processing. He has two U.S. patents and has published numerous articles in his fields of expertise. His research was named Best Paper in the 1998 IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) Journal of Solid-State Electronics.

Dr. Blanksby returned to Adelaide in January 2003 to assist companies looking to add wireless capability to their systems. Andrew specialises in the area of M2M technology development.
